Lead Software Developer for Software Solutions - Gubra

We are accelerating our digital journey and are therefore seeking a Lead Software Developer to lead our exciting internal and external technology initiatives. If you're excited about taking charge in crafting innovative web applications and robust APIs, influencing Gubra's digital transformation, and contributing to groundbreaking drug discovery initiatives, all while actively participating in making a positive in our world, then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of passionate developers in the creation of customized, interactive web applications and powerful APIs (with no personnel management responsibilities).
- Drive the development, maintenance, and support of software solutions, playing a pivotal role in Gubra's digitization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address unique challenges in data analysis, management, and day-to-day operations.
- Working in an Agile-Scrum environment to ensure efficient project management and delivery.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in software development.
- Proficient in working with a Linux environment, Scrum, and source control management tools such as Git.
- Expertise in web application development using R Shiny and/or Python.
- Strong familiarity with interacting with databases using R-DBI, SQLAlchemy, or equivalent.
- A passion for software development that includes a willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.
- Experience working in biotechnology industry is a great asset!
