Arcvita ApS (Arcvita) is a family-founded private limited company in Denmark with the focus to provide in-home care to elderly individuals. Arcvita is best known for its ability to let family stay family and let caregivers take on the role to serve.
Arcvita is now looking for that experienced and compassionate caregiver to help to take care of the loved ones. As an Elderly Caregiver and Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and support to elderly individuals in their private home.
Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with activities of daily living, to keep the elderly individuals active and physically moving.
- Administering medications as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Building relationships and providing emotional support and companionship.
- Improving their quality of life by providing top-notch elderly care service.
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Performing housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the condition of the elderly individuals to the appropriate healthcare professionals and family members.
- Assisting the elderly individuals with administrative daily assignments, such as paperwork and financial assistance.
Requirements:
- Experience working with elderly individuals, preferably in a home care or long-term care setting.
- Compassionate, social, trustworthy, and service-minded behaviour.
- Problem solving skills and stress resistant.
- Ability to communicate effectively with elderly people, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and willing to learn through experience and receiving feedback.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Must be able to speak Danish or English fluently.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a nursing assistant or home health aide is preferred, but not mandatory.
