Join Dall Energy as a mechanical site engineer in groundbreaking green energy projects across France

dato

Do you want to be at the forefront of delivering new innovative and green energy solutions with focus on biomass? Are you passionate about technology, green transformation, and innovation? Do you have broad experience in site engineering and project management?

Join us and make your mark on the future of green energy solutions!

Dall Energy is currently operating in Denmark and France and many exciting projects down the pipeline. We are looking for two Mechanical Site Engineers to work on our project in Amiens, where we are delivering a 14 MW district heating plant, and our project in Etival-Clairefontaine, near Strasbourg, France, where we are delivering 20MW.

The need for a green solution is booming everywhere in Europe. Dall Energy design and deliver combined Heat and Power plants based on green technology with our patented gasification furnace and has a unique position as our gasification process is more efficient than the technologies available on the market. Benefits of the technology allow the use of lower quality/cheaper biomass and high range of fuel types with a stable process over the entire output range.

We are continuously growing and looking to welcome two Mechanical Site Engineers to ensure all mechanical site activities on these and upcoming projects.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that our complex projects are successfully completed, functioning as intended, and ready for long-term operation. You will bridge the gap between construction and operation, ensuring that systems are fully functional and optimized for performance.

Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:

• Produce and review installation documents and manuals: Erection plans, lifting plans, O&M manuals, assembly drawings, isometrics, and equipment lists.
• Handle and inspect mechanical works during erection:

  • Ensure compliance with TPS, EN standards, and DIRECTIVE 2006/42/EC.
  • Oversee lifting and sliding of equipment.
  • Ensure installations meet design specifications.
  • Manage punch lists, reports and inform on progress to Site Management.
  • Control welding documentation, traceability, NDT reports, and certificates.
  • Inspect sub-contractors' work, including tools, materials, welds, and pressure tests.

• Participate in site coordination meetings: Provide inputs during erection.
• Communicate with engineering teams:
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors on mechanical works.
  • Review 3D models and P&ID corrections from the site.
  • Handle NCR reporting.

• Oversee FAT: If not managed by another department.
• HSE Reporting
• Manage equipment handling:
  • Unloading, storage areas, inventory lists, and inspection of received equipment.

Ideally, you thrive in dynamic environments, showcasing expertise in project supervision, ensuring flawless execution through meticulous inspections and hands-on support. You excel in quality control, conducting inspections and tests to ensure that materials and workmanship meet required standards. Your role involves providing technical guidance and support to the construction team, ensuring all technical aspects of the project are correctly implemented.

You are adept at coordination, working closely with, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. You prepare and maintain detailed reports, plans, and records related to the construction project, ensuring thorough documentation. Problem-solving is a key part of your role, as you address any technical issues that arise during the construction process and find effective solutions. Your contributions are essential for the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

The position is a full-time role. The duration of our construction activities is typically 4-6 months, and the commissioning period is typically around 3-4 months. When you’re not at the site, you will be preparing for your next assignment at our office in DK or in FR.

Perhaps your background looks like this:

  • You have solid experience from a similar position, ensuring smooth execution of site activities.
  • You probably hold a bachelor’s degree in Technology Management, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering with process experience, mechanical field engineer, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
  • You have an excellent technical understanding and know how to navigate on-site on international projects.

We are looking for a new colleague with a natural drive, dedication, and engagement in the company's products and projects. It is in your nature to demonstrate a positive, constructive, and creative work style when faced with problems/challenges.

You thrive with a high level of activity and English language at a professional level. Preferably, you could speak and write French fluently due to our current projects and our expectations for the French market. In many of the French contracts, it’s included the requirement of a French-speaking Site Manager. Written reporting will be in English. Danish will be an advantage but not a requirement.

In return, you can expect:

An exciting job with high impact, fast-growing, innovative, and dynamic environment. Here at Dall Energy, you will collaborate with a specialized team of employees, all passionate about the quality of our work. We offer you a position where erection of the mechanical installation is your primary responsibility, a significant element for the company's exciting and continued growth!

Dall Energy is a relatively young company where we all contribute to everyday life. Freedom with responsibility characterizes Dall Energy, and we have all joined because we like to make a difference in green energy. We all work innovatively with projects in our fields of expertise to contribute to the ongoing development of the company, deliveries, and product solutions.
